Nozim 2® (Etizolam 2 mg) – Fast-Acting Relief for Anxiety and Panic Disorders
Nozim 2 is a high-potency, fast-acting anxiolytic medication formulated with 2 mg of Etizolam, a thienodiazepine derivative used for the short-term management of anxiety, panic attacks, and insomnia. Although structurally distinct from benzodiazepines, Etizolam acts on the same GABAergic system, producing similar calming, sedative, and anti-panic effects. Nozim 2 is especially effective in treating acute anxiety episodes, emotional instability, and tension-related sleep disturbances.
Therapeutic Class:
Thienodiazepines (Anxiolytic / Sedative-Hypnotic)
Indications:
-
Generalized Anxiety Disorder (GAD)
-
Panic Disorder (with or without agoraphobia)
-
Short-term treatment of insomnia related to anxiety

Mechanism of Action:
Etizolam enhances the binding of GABA to the GABA-A receptor complex, increasing chloride ion influx and neuronal hyperpolarization. This inhibitory action leads to CNS depression, resulting in anxiolytic, sedative, muscle relaxant, and mild anticonvulsant effects. Compared to traditional benzodiazepines, Etizolam may have a shorter half-life and reduced hangover effects.
